Counter Installation
Our Customer Care Centre will first contact you to schedule a template appointment, where we make an exact match of your existing counter, which is later used to build a cap to fit over your existing counter in less than a day.
Counter tops are manufactured in our facility within 1 – 2 weeks by highly skilled craftsmen who take great pride in the quality of their workmanship.
Installation dates are coordinated by our Customer Service Manager who understands that your time is important to you. Once a date has been agreed, it does not change which tends to be a rare event compared to others.
As an added service, you will receive a courtesy call on day of install to let you know your counter is on the way.
On arrival, our Installers will introduce themselves, and then spend a few minutes with you to review the scope of the project before starting any work.
Phase 1 Installers will remove appliances, sinks, faucets, trim the existing counter to allow for new stove, fridge, or sink openings, and removing any high spots, drip edges and or post-form back splash as required.
Phase 2 After the preparation is complete the new tops are set onto the existing counter, making sure every piece fits perfectly, and identifying any cutout requirements prior to gluing. All cutouts are done outside and cleaned. A two part epoxy combined with premium stone glue is used for a quick bond and superior adhesion over-time. Faucet placement and holes cutouts are drilled out on-site. Back splashes are installed and caulked before sealing and finial clean-up.
Phase 3 Stove legs are adjusted to be even with new granite counter top, doors and drawers are tested, including sinks and faucets, to make sure your kitchen and or bathroom is fully functional. Counter tops are sealed and polished for your inspection before you sign off that the work is considered complete.
We are not only committed to you, we are also committed to the environment. Our patented process removes only 1/3 of the natural material from the earth compared to traditional thicker granite, and contains no artificial resin mix as found in engineered products.
